first aid course
sorry for the super slow updates yea. don’t really have much to say as usual! just photos of what we did for the past few weeks. some times i wonder if this blog is turning into a travelling log. well, in away.

well lets start of with two weeks ago! which was decades to me actually. haha. you know, when you are busy, time flies real quick that even 3 days ago seemed to be a very long time. about 2 weeks ago, we had this first aid course organized by WHO in HELP. the organizer is our classmate actually, Eshana! so this first aid course consist of two days. first day was about CPR and the next is about first aid.

CPR we did on dummies. too bad i had not enough hands to take some photos! but it was fun. we had the CPR for babies, kids and adults. it was quite exhausting actually. imagine pumping and blowing non stop for the whole morning! when it was lunch time, everyone was starving! all energy were used up just to kiss all these dummies. haih… by the end of the day, we had to sit for the theory test. conclusion after learning CPR : well, it’s a very important skill for all of us to know but then we have the option to do it or not to. imagine a person dying in front of you, a stranger and you kn0ow that he needs CPR but then, i don’t even know what am i facing… so, knowing CPR can make you pretty stressed up. haih.. how to say… it’s like, we are advised to only do it on our loved ones and those we know. not just any stranger. having the skill to make some one stay alive which is not applicable to everyone, that’s what i meant. hmm…

the next day, which was actually held a week later was the first aid course. basicly we learn how to bandage the proper way. unlike PBSM, this is more practical. we concentrate more on being practical. hmm… it was boring though. we repeated the same thing over and over. but! we did learn how to carry people properly! that was fun. besides that, we were taught of how to observe certain signs of certain injuries which can be lethal if not handled properly! you see.. more burden! because we need to remember all these! not to say i don’t want to, but there are so many to remember! if i were in one of the situations, i might be afraid to help out because i might be blamed if i did something wrong. haih!

but anyways, we are the future helpers! and we got a cert for it! and a special card too for people to acknowledge our presence! wee~ i can save lives on land and water now. how cool!
