Do you know how adult like to boss children around that some times they do stupid things? hahaha.

For example in class. Teachers don’t like chatty student, they complain to the student’s parents that they are chatty. I mean, what is wrong being chatty right? It is a normal human behavior to be chatty. But i understand being chatty might make a student look like they don’t pay attention in class, but still…

OK fine, they even have problems with student being quiet in class for example sis and me. One day teacher ask why are we so quiet, I didn’t really understand what he meant. As far as we know, when the teachers are teaching, we are not suppose to talk as a show of respect to the teacher although you are not concentrating on him but at the boy sitting next to you instead. So we were quiet because we respect him. Then i told him that i am not like some others of my classmates who ask questions because seriously i don’t know what to ask because seriously i don’t understand what was he teaching. hahaha! Ya, i know my parents say when you don’t understand anything, ask the teacher. But when you don’t understand anything at all, you won’t know what to ask because you won’t even know where to start. And the thing is, you have to choose your questions very carefully because if you accidentally ask a stupid question although you really want an answer and you don’t find it is a stupid question at all, your teacher will say “What kind of a stupid question is that? Don’t waste my time answering stupid questions like that!” I pity one of my classmates, he was just being curious and he always get that reply. So what is the use I ask questions when i can just find it from my books although it will take a longer time.

Besides that, you know how we humans who live at a tropical area, we take bath averagely twice a day so the chance of getting sick for being dirty is kind of low.

But my mom (and maybe your mom) especially when I was a kid, non stop screaming “Aiya, dirty ar girl, don’t play! Quickly wash your hand!”

 You know how i love cats right, especially my mother cat and my baby kitty. At 18 years old, whenever i play with them my mom will still always tell me that they are dirty and I shouldn’t play with them. But actually after i play with them i will wash my hand more thoroughly then any of you who washed your hand just now. Oh ya i forgot to tell you, they are stray cats and they don’t bathe. I won’t bathe them because I like them dirty =D

But my dad is different. That day while i was playing with baby Cowcow, I told my pa i wanted to smell cowcow so i asked him to lift the cute creature higher to the level of my nose so that i can go closer and…….. sniff. I tried sniffing at 5cm away from those cute furry fur, then he suddenly pushed the kitty towards my nose and oh! nose contact! nose contact! The fur went into my nose. If my mom saw she would have threw the kitty at that instant. Hehehehe. I also would love to kiss cowcow but i dare not. The closes i would go is put it at my cheek and feel its soft fur. I feel so envy I saw Junyi that day, she has this cute little doggie, she smell and kiss it! I was like “I want to do that too!”

My mom is worried that the lice from the cat will reproduce on me (eww..) But I have handled cats for a long time, I know what to do and what not to do! I tried catching the lice on cowcow before, but it went hiding under her black fur so i couldn’t find it. The lice is so snakey (derived from the word snake. You know?). As long as I keep my hygiene good, I will survive.

I just find that adults restrict their kids from doing and learning things just because of some unreasonable reasons. If your child want to play with earth worms, just let him play but watch him. Make sure he doesn’t eat them and make him wash his hands after playing with it, but don’t stop him. You are just jealous that you can’t play with him =P 

What is the use of teaching your young child science when you don’t let them experience the science of life.
