Kuala Selangor
Last Tuesday, Clement, Zhulian, Zhiwei and both of us together with our dad, we went to Kuala Selangor to see fireflies. It was a really relaxing trip. We were supposed to go there by bus but my dad said he could drive us there so he came along as well. Zhiwei said my dad is super cool. Hehe.
We left about 1pm and reached there about 2pm. It was early, so we went to see the house we were staying in. Accomodation was free because my dad’s friend let us live in their house for that night. It was a big house but to respect them I didn’t take a picture of their house.
So after seeing the house, we went to Bukit Malawati which was just 10 minutes drive from the house. I like Bukit Malawati. It gives me a peaceful feeling..
From Bukit Malawati, we can see the sea which is few miles away. Oh yea, this was a fort. So they can shoot cannon balls from here to the ships at the sea.
After that we visited the muzium. It was boring. So Clement was bored too. So he took a photo with the guard.
While Zhiwei and Zhulian were taking a stroll together..
And this is the Bukit Malawati Lighthouse.

Then we went to our new home for that night. It was so comfortable. The aunty told us to treat their home like our home. As a teenager when some one says that, of course we will treat it like our home.
After lazing around the in house, we became bored. So we went to play at the playground near by. The playground was nice.

Although Julian look like he was forced to sit there, he was enjoying it.

Grampa and gramdaughta!! So sweet..
At night we had seafood! How can you not eat seafood when you go to Kuala Selangor. The food was so yummy and the veiw was just breathtaking. Lovely!
At last, at night the aunty and uncle took us to see the fireflies!! Woohoo!! But sorry no pictures was taken because we were afraid that we might fall into the river and our cameras get spoilt. But let me describe it to you. The bushes look like Christmas trees. It was a pretty scene.
After the fireflies, the adults left us at home. We found these swords, i think ther are antiques. Well, we played with them.
So cool right..
On the second day, we went to Taman Alam after breakfast. Taman Alam is conservation park ‘ prepared?’ by Malaysia Nature Society.
This park has a 3km trail and in between this trails, there is a lake
Where the guide told us that from time to time we can spot the otters.
But we saw none of them. Maybe just one goose, so some animal which looked like a goose.
They also have a mangroove as it is one of their main objective of making the park, which is to conserve the mangrooves in Malaysia.
At the mangrooves you can see a lot of mudskippers and crabs. The small crabs.
One thing i like about this park, is their trails. Look so fantasy like. Unlike those jungle trails I always use every weekend.

While walking on these trails, we saw eagles. They look so pretty and MAJESTIC. At these park, it is a place where migratory birds from other countries stop for a while to take a break. So this park is one of a kind.
After Taman Alam, we had our ever so yummy lucnh and it was time to say goodbye to Kuala Selangor.
I miss Kuala Selangor. I miss the peacefulness that it gave to me
