What else would you think i would post on Mother’s Day? Of course, it would be none other than Mother Kitty!!

None of my siblings wished her yesterday except me. How bad they peopou.

Today’s post is dedicated to Mother Kitty!

This was how i met her in year 2006. I was taking our my bowling balls from my dads car when i suddenly i realised a cat was at my feet meowing at me. I shooed her away because she was really irritating.

Then i walked toward the house door and she followed me. She actually followed me! Its unusual for a cat to follow someone who is not its master. So anyway i gave it a pat, since it was such a good girl, follow me. Then i say good bye and forget about her.

The next day she came visiting again. meow meow meow. i was bored and i miss my dead cats, so i played with her. Gave her a rub on her tummy, head, rub here rube there. After i was done playing with her i left her again, and forget about her.

From then on she keeps coming to our house to seek for attention. I actually didn’t like her at that time because i wasn’t ready to accept another cat into my life at that time. I was still recovering from the lost of my previous cat.

One day i was at this place called Giant where they sell stuff but not in giant sizes. I saw this one day meal for cats, so i bought it just for the fun of it. I reached home and gave some to this cat and guess what? It went wild! Dee and me were so scared of her because it looked like she hasn’t been eating for a long time. But after that we got used to it la and she became not so wild because her eatings became more frequent, so she was happy.

So i decided to make her stay. see i make cats stay. haha. Because she is pregnant and i wanna play with cute kitties. So tadah! after about a month or two, she was still pregnant but my bro said she brought home a kitten! She actually carried a kitten home! That is so weird!

But too bad i don’t have any photos of that kitten we call Mushroom because she looks like a ‘tungku’- Chinese mushroom. But Mushroom died, killed by the neighbours kids while riding a bicycle or something, i dunno i wasn’t there. It was the saddest scene both of us ever seen. we were at home when we heard mother kitty meowing for us. so we went her and she like sort of made us walk with her, i dunno how in the world did she do that and she brought us to mushroom, who was lying on the road, not moving. we did not dare to go near mushroom because we were just too sad and shocked and there were just this really angry feelings toward my neighbours kids. felt like putting mushroom in their house at that time. We cried silently. Mother cat just sat beside mushroom, so human like behavior which i never knew animals had.

Few months later mother cat gave birth to 2 kitties, we expected more because her tummy was so big, and it still is. Long tail and short tail! Both of them managed to grow up until their teenager years when short tail was rolled over by a car and long tail just disappeared few months after she lost Cowcow.

This was Long Tail’s first batch of kittens. Baby tiger and cannon ball.

I don’t know what happen to these two kittens, but i heard something like another cat tried to steal them from Long Tail while we were away in Singapore. When we reached home both of them were gone.

So now, at home we only have mother cat and a new stray cat, sharp tail whom is very annoying. She declared this house her house, always taking food from mother kitty but now we sort of got used to her presence. Mother cat always fight with her and i will always support mother cat =D
