HELP A Levels Prom Night 2008: Afterglow
On the 30th of June, a large group of teenagers gathered at Hilton Kuala Lumpur for a night of celebration and joy.
By 6pm they gathered in front of the grand ballroom and people started snapping the camera of friends in lovely gowns and tight tuxedos. Some look fabulous while some look normal. I didn’t see anyone ugly. Haha!
Many took the effort to put on some make up, while some just let things be. Some were showing off while some hide behind the curtains.
Food came out by 8pm. It was surprisingly ‘different’. Fine cuisine. But not fine enough for me to take a photo of what i ate.
Some tasted bland, some tasted flat, some were too sweet for my tastebuds. Nothing spectacular. Pffft.
Entertainment was Dennis from a dance show called Do You Think You Can Dance? We didn’t see much as our table was at a bad positioned and the sound system was bad. Oh yea, bad. Couldn’t hear what was the emcee talking about most of the time. Sad to say it was not worth the money. It was not worth my time preparing for it. But for the sake of meeting my friends, i didn’t want to think how disattisfied i was.
Then the emcee had this bollywood dance which was kind of stupid. Yea very entertaining.
So The Prom King went to the most good looking guy in our class, Tan Jin Ern. It’s not just my opinion, everyone says so. prom Queen goes to some one not from our class. See, although we are a bunch of nerds, we can still produce Prom Kings. Hahaha.
Then after they chose the Prom King and Queen, they had the pleasure to be the first to dance on the dance floor. Not too long after that the dance floor was flooded with couples doing the ’slow dance’ and i thought some of them were kissing already. Urgh. So my bunch of friends didn’t get the chance to cause havoc on the dance floor that night.
How sad.
Left the place by 2330 to get ready for the Redang trip on the next day.
