Zoo Negara (National Zoo), Malaysia

It has been a while since we last stepped into our national zoo, it has been about 12 years like that. Haha.
Yesterday suddenly we had the urge to go there since we got nothing better else to do. So off we went to Zoo Negara. Ticket price for adults: RM15. The lady at the counter handed us the plastic bracelet/tag for us to wear on our wrist. Usually they would wear for us, however she just handed it to us, so we had to wear it our own.
I didn’t know how to wear it. We all didn’t know how to wear it, but i was smart enough to take the whole sticker thing off its plastic. I ruined it. I just ruined my ticket. haha. As we entered the zoo’s metal doors, there was a girl standing there. She was supposed to put the tag on for us. I was like, “hehehehe, i took the tag of the plastic thing, hehehehehe” She saved my ticket. Lalalalalala~
The zoo was very quiet, but there were a few tourist. No big tours. There was this river going through the zoo, it was very ‘clean’ with plastic bags filled with things sticking at the side of the river.
We first saw the giraffes. They look really pretty. The elephants look really tiny, unlike the one i saw in Singapore Zoo. Giraffes eat peri-winkle leaves.
Most of the animals were separated according to their animal signs and horoscopes. Haha , what i meant was, each of these animals had their own private place, for example all the elephants are placed at one place not mixing with other animals. Most of the animals they just come in pairs. In fact i feel the zoo is quite empty.
Maybe it is because we came in the afternoon, so they were sleeping. Some of the lairs were empty as well, under maintanence they said.
We saw the lion pair mate under the hot sun, so it was a hot sex. haha. They are very active during the day light because they did it a few times. We need not need to stop and stare for a few hours to know that, you can just hear it. They make very big noise, it is like how the stray cats at my house do it and sound like, only amplify it by 5 times. I don’t know why, but the Caucasian man tourist was fascinated by it. Haven’t they seen hot s** before?
hahaha, anyway it is a good thing that the zoo is empty, it means that most of them are at their natural habitat right?
Maybe not, maybe it could just be because they are extinct. Many of them are going through extinction.
Although we were in a zoo, this photo might fool some people. They seem to be happy in their wild habitat. haha, but i think they can actually run away into the jungle nearby.
This camel was scratching its neck with sand. But we came and disturb it. So it gave us this look. hehehehe.
The biggest rodent in the world. Look so cute just like mother kitty! But mother kitty cannot eat it. It bigger than mother kitty!!
Pink Flamingos. But they looks like orange here.
Otters! so cute!
They jump around like very funny otters!
Big Grizzly Bear.
You know what, they even have goats here. About 10 like that i think. They desperately need for love. When we came, we only saw 3 of them. A few moments later, they came flooding to our area. They are very friendly animals.
I love this picture very much. Can you see the goat is smiling? It is a baby goat.
Giant tortoise!! I call it baby. One of my favourite animal. Leo asked one of them if they had witness the birth of Jesus Christ, but they didn’t reply.
Amphibians! Froggies!! Can you see a frog? It is camouflaging. It is at the corner left. hehehe.
Well that was our day at the national zoo of malaysia.
