Bukit Tabur
Ta daa~ At last! i went to Kang Gates Ridge last saturday together with brotha’s friends. I missed out my first chance so char told me to try even though i was reluctant. We stopped hiking for quite a while already because we were lazy and bored of FRIM and Gasing. But papa had to return his crystal he took from there so i went there reluctantly…
Brotha’s friends thought of reaching there by 0630 to catch the sunrise but as usual you can’t trust the planning of youngsters. Who doesn’t want more sleep. Char tiba tiba had a stomach ache whle waiting for them at the zoo, so we rushed to McD.
Luckily the toilet was clean and nice. 0600 in the morning is dark and creepy and lonely and scary so it was lucky for us to get a good toilet. I found a toilet roll in the next cubicle and i gave char. She was happy. We chit chat in the toilet but seperated by the door but it was still as fun as ever. Pa pa eves drop at us and he complained about how noisy we were in the toilet.
We finally reached the base of the quartz mountain. We saw a dog. This dog is a special dog. It’s a she. She hiked up with us to the ridges of the mountain. There were 13 of us and she always waited for the last man to come up. She was our guide and a friend. She doesn’t bark. She was the legendary dog of Bukit Tabur.
When we got up there, she found her buddy, and she left us. We wished her good bye and thank her for her good company. She flew away with her boy friend who was then leading another pack of people. The hiking was the usual tiring and boring part but it lasted for 2 hours only. The fun part is the rock climbing! It wasn’t tiring and it was fun! But char was terrified so she didn’t enjoy it. She found a baby crystal. I got many blue blacks from the rock climbing and they are still on my legs. Climbing rocks was fun because it is easier than climbing artificial rocks. Some times we had to make sweet love to the rocks too.
The fun ended when we reached the forest line again. Had to hike down under the rain with leeches every where. Lucky me i only found leeches in my shoes but no where near my skin. i don’t hate leeches as long as i don’t see them in live action but unfortunately my skin can hardly heal over deep bites. Have to spend Rm300+ to see the skin specialist to get my magic cream to heal it. Char had a baby leech on her thumb. It was a cute scene. Because it was a baby. Papa rolled the baby leech around with his fingers.
I hope clement wont get jealous. Hee.
